New Fungus Could Kill Drugs

Government researchers are hard at work testing a new weapon in the war on drugs; a fungus designed to kill off narcotic plants. It could make easy work of destroying crops that provide cocaine and heroin, as well as marijuana. But some scientists have concerns about the killer fungus. For the past four years, scientists have been hard at work around Lake Michigan, taking hundreds of water, sediment, and air samples and analyzing the data.
